This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Human Resource Solutions - OHRS in Washington, D.C. At a developmental level, the position performs information systems administration of HR Information Systems (HRIS) in support of HR enterprise architecture providing technical expertise on system operations, hardware, and a wide variety of HR applications and programs.
Duties
Runs HR metrics from various systems, interprets the metrics and documents findings in plain language for use by intended audience.
Troubleshoots, and assist with the implementation of changes for HR Database used by organization.
At the developmental level, assists with the implementation of automated HR data processing and networking system solutions.
This is a non-bargaining unit position.
This is not a (drug) testing designated position.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-09: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector, which includes: 1. applying human resources (HR) processes and data, applying information maintained in and HR System to address operational issues and questions; 2. analyzed workforce data and identify relationships between and among datasets and draw conclusions about that data; and 3. MUST have used and have familiarity with analytic tools and languages such as Excel, Cognos, SharePoint and/or Power BI. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume.

Administrative and Management Positions

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education

GS-09 Education: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. One year of full-time graduate education is 18 semester hours or the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one year of full-time study.

OR
GS-09 Combination: I possess an equivalent combination of the above education and experience. For example, six months of specialized experience (50% of the experience requirements) and 27 semester hours or 41 quarter hours of graduate education as described above (50% of the education requirement, in excess of the first year of graduate school).
