You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the FLEET TECHNICAL SUPPORT DIVISION within the FLEET READINESS DEPT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11 and GS-12.
Duties
You will respond to casualty reports and determine corrective action.
You will lead maintenance activities in testing and maintenance.
You will perform routine testing and operational checks of submarine imaging and electronic warfare systems.
You will assist and train personnel in maintenance and corrective actions.
You will provide input and reports to leadership regarding maintenance plans and efforts.
You will work in areas related to submarine periscopes and equipment, including procurement, installation, at-sea testing, corrective maintenance and management.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-9/10 grade level equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing on-site support for submarine imaging and electronic warfare systems, including preventative and corrective testing and maintenance.
