Serve as an Building Services Specialist in a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Service Center Region.

Duties

This position serves as a Building Services Specialist in a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Service Center Region or Region, Office of Policy, International Affairs & Environment (APL), National Engagement and Regional Administration (ARA). The position reports to the Deputy Regional Administrator (DRA), Supervisory Senior Advisor, Executive Operations Manager, or Building Services Manager and is responsible for customer service and facilities support for buildings owned or managed by the FAA, the Department of Transportation (DOT), or other Federal entities.

Requirements

US Citizenship is required.
Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
A recent SF-50 is required (See Required Documents for requirements)
Background investigation required.

Qualifications

To qualify at this level you must demonstrate that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G/ GS-11. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience include the ability to apply knowledge of Federal laws, regulations, policies and best practices as they pertain to facility and building management.
