This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Eastern Service Center (ESC), Enroute Project Implementation Team (AJV-E350). The position applies comprehensive knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) to manage the CM program within the ESC and is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the National Airspace System (NAS).
Duties
The Configuration Management Specialist will use experience and comprehensive knowledge of CM principles such as configuration identification and control to facilitate engineering review and disposition of national air space change proposals (NCP).
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify at the FG/GS-13 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-12 or FV-H level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully in the duties of the position.Specialized experience: Describe your experience conducting Configuration Management (CM) audits and reviews of facilities to plan and accomplish facility baseline and configuration audits.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.Applicants should include examples of Specialized Experience in their work history.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
