This position serves as an Executive Staff Assistant in the Office of Airports (ARP). The incumbent performs a variety of administrative assignments in direct support, assistance, and guidance to the Associate Administrator and Deputy Associate Administrator for Airports on day-to-day organizational operations.
Duties
Performs multiple and varying administrative and office management duties, tasks, and assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Applies experience and advanced knowledge of administrative management policies, procedures, practices, and processes to provide support, assistance, and guidance in the planning, management, and direction of the organization.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-11 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as:Experience providing administrative assistance and guidance to senior leadership in support of tasks, assignments, and initiatives regarding day-to-day organizational operations. ANDExperience applying knowledge of format, grammar, punctuation, spelling, branding, and style practices and procedures to develop, prepare, and/or edit correspondence, presentations, reports, briefings, memos, emails, and other written documents for review and approval by senior management.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
