As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.As Team Manager, directs work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational
units/projects/programs across multiple functions and/or disciplines.
Duties
Duties typically include: strategic planning, communicating the organization's vision and objectives,
setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities, monitoring and evaluating performance of
organizational units, coaching and developing staff and organizational capabilities, approving leave,
and taking, recommending, or approving corrective/disciplinary action, as appropriate.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- Some, none or all applicants may be interviewed.
- A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J or FG/GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes: Program and project management experience in federal programs involving acquisition, deployment, sustainment, improvement and regulatory compliance of facilities. Specialized
aviation technical knowledge, skills, and abilities; and project management skills are required. Specialized experience for this position is: Technical experience involving the installation, deployment, maintenance, operation or establishment of NAS components, facilities or systems. Experience in aviation technical knowledge gained through experience in design, deployment, or performance evaluation of systems, facilities or components of the NAS.
