About the Position: This position is with the Deputy Chief of Staff, G1, Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA), North Central Regional Director's Office, Fort McCoy Civilian Personnel Advisory Center, Employee Development Division located at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.

Duties

Oversee the instruction of HR-related training courses. Develop new training to correct deficiencies. Conduct training evaluation programs. Utilize automated training systems to distribute communication. Brief staff on training related issues.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes implementing human resources training plans and analyzing issues impacting program objectives; facilitates an effective training delivery system and methodology to serve the needs of the customer; identifies training solutions to be administered; plans, administers, or directs long-range training plans and specific projects to satisfy training requirements; analyzes and measures the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of HR training; makes recommendations to improve course management and delivery. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in Human Resources or other fields related to the position to be filled. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts). OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Emerging Technology Application and AutomationEmployee DevelopmentOral CommunicationTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
