Position is within the Air Traffic Organization, Technical Operations, ATC Facilities, Engineering Services. The position is located in a Field Maintenance Party (FMP) unit within Engineering Services, Eastern Service Area (ESA). The incumbent will accomplish routine and emergency repair, evaluation, and installation of plants and structures facilities, including radar, communications, and navigational aid antenna systems.

Qualifications

To qualify, no specific length of experience or training is required. However, you must show evidence of experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of a Maintenance Mechanic. The position requires knowledge, skill and abilities in various trades of work such as mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, welding/metal fabrication, painting and general knowledge of electronics and equipment. Candidates must show experience at the level of difficulty and responsibility appropriate to the position.
