About the Position: This position is located at WR National Military Medical Center, Dept of IM/IT, Bethesda, MD.
Duties
Serves as a Training Specialist for a Medical Center.
Responsible of the implementation and evaluation of electronic medical record (EMR).
Provide training and guidance to electronic medical record (EMR) assigned instructors.
Review new or changed training procedures, policies, and regulations.
Continually reviews effectiveness if performance and quality of training processes.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position is designated as Mission Essential. The incumbent will be required to report to work during times of contingency operations, natural disasters, extreme weather or other emergency situations.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating training activities for medical staff, managers, and other pertinent parties; analyze training results for quality and effectiveness; identify revisions for training content; and ensuring the classrooms, training facilities, and training materials are ready for use.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
