This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA-DWHSSS.
Duties
Plans, coordinates, schedules and executes all aspects of secure video teleconferences involving White House and National Security principals that satisfy stated conference requirements.
Effectively manages multiparty video teleconferencing systems, including establishing complex multiparty and point-to-point video teleconference calls.
Tests equipment to ensure proper operation and, when needed, sets-up the room to accommodate special user needs.
Monitors, reviews, and analyzes overall VTC and conference room audiovisual equipment and system performance to ensure its satisfactory operation.
Coordinates all maintenance requirements with the support contractor and ensures that all VTC and conference room facility equipment is properly maintained.
Ensures VTC and conference room audiovisual training is readily available to all interested users by planning and conducting an on-going local user VTC equipment-training program.
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Drug Testing Position.
- Top Secret/ SCI security clearance required.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience in establishing and managing complex multi-party video teleconferencing systems and point-to-point video teleconference calls; experience in monitoring, reviewing, analyzing and testing VTC and conference room audiovisual equipment and system performance to include special user need accommodations; experience with conference room audiovisual training.
