About the Position: Serves as a Training Requirement Analyst with the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs. Responsible for developing, reviewing, and evaluating training courses and their requirements.
Duties
Responsible for collecting training data and statistical analysis.
Prepare staff papers, information briefings, reports, and training information.
Conduct task analysis to determine performance steps in support of users requirements.
Review of class policy and training materials required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing training materials and lessons; overseeing training program requirements; conducting statistical analysis and data compilation for installations; understanding of programs such as Army Training Requirements and Resource System, Quota Management System, Structured Manning Decision Review. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08).
NOTE- PLEASE READ: Applicants who are current Federal employees or who are eligible for Reinstatement may be able to qualify with experience equivalent to the second lower grade, GS-07.
