Duties
Provides staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management for the SROTC Program and affiliates within the Task Force structure.
Forecasts, requests and manages the Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) and Military Personnel, Army (MPA) budgets for the host program and affiliates within the task force structure.
Accounts for property and manages various classes of supplies at the host and affiliated programs.
Utilizes various automated computer/software applications to prepare documents involving supply transactions, management reports and logistics.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position may require 6-12 weeks TDY, approximately 30% of the time in support of USACC Cadet Summer Training, or Cadet Command seminars/classes, and other events as directed.
- A valid state driver’s license is required.
- Special Requirement - May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License with Hazardous Material Endorsement.
- Incumbency of this position is limited to persons who have not had a conviction of domestic violence under the Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. 922).
- Completion of a Unit Armor Course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training.
- This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program. Incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019,
- - Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified Critical Under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program, or a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
- A pre-placement medical examination is required.
- This position requires lifting of at least 50lbs

Position may be filled as a TERM NTE 2 YEARS with provisions to extend up to a maximum of 8 years. Permanent Army employees who accept time-limited appointments will not have placement rights to the previously held permanent position at the end of the time-limited appointment.

Specialized Experience required at the GS-07:
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as Ensures record management files are properly maintained; Follow procedures to inspect supplies or equipment for discrepancies;
Operates automated word processing equipment with hardware and software components to prepare a variety of material such as correspondence, forms, reports, etc; Maintains property book in accordance with applicable regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
