About the Position: This position is with the 84th Training Command, Command Group, located in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Prepare and present yearly training briefs, senior leader workshops, organizational design changes, lean six sigma and process improvement initiatives.
Coach and teach training divisions to do operations and strategic planning.
Lead operational planning teams on non-exercise initiatives and operations.
Plan and coordinate HHD HQs events, oversee Command's CFRRs, MRTs, and MFTs, HQs and Command-wide knowledge management efforts.
Plan, complete, deconflict, and oversee HQs and Command-wide policies, SOPs, and processes.
Develop operational approaches for 84th TC operations and missions.
Plan and/or build long range budgets, MTC long range calendars and capabilities, CR2C special projects.
Plan and oversee the use of the command training card for civilian professional development and training.
Plan and oversee the compilation of the running command annual history report.
Maintain running estimates.

Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: developing, coordinating, and assessing long range plans and strategies; maintaining continuous liaison with appropriate headquarters elements for planning changes; providing daily and long-term continuity for strategic long-range and mid-term planning; preparing and presenting briefings, studies, fact sheets, and correspondence; and monitoring unit readiness for wartime contingency plans. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
