You will serve as a Fire Protection Specialist in the Fire and Emergency Services division of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.
Duties
You will design, initiate, plan, develop, evaluate and implement full-length training curriculums for all Fire and Emergency Personnel to include multi-clustered organizations.
You will produce complete, self-contained training products (courses, aids, methods, training plans, etc.) along with subject-matter or functional specialty area lines.
You will serve as a liaison between the fire division and federal and location fire protection and public safety organizations.
You will monitor, coordinate and evaluate in-service company training activities to ensure training objectives are accomplished.
You will supervise, evaluate, and audit drills provided by the Regional Fire Department.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing training and safety programs in accordance with regulatory agencies; 2) Managing the development and implementation of an emergency medical services risk management plan; 3) Conducting course research, providing quality assurance, and maintaining budgetary controls for all training requirements; and 4) Completing written reports of program effectiveness, training academics, and study outcomes in order provide recommendations. This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications for this position: NREMT-Basic, Firefighter I & II, Airport Firefighter, HAZMAT Awareness, Operations, Technician, Incident Command, Fire Officer I & II, Fire Instructor I & II, and Fire Inspector I & II. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. If you do not possess all of the above certifications and you have not attached a copy of your transcript or certifications, you will be rated ineligible.
