About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Fort Sam Houston is located in the beautiful and historic San Antonio and is within easy commuting distance of desirable neighborhoods and excellent school systems.

Duties

Serves as a Supply Technician providing support for the Brigade and ensuring property accountability by conducting inventories, maintaining supply records, and providing guidance to the Brigade staff sections. Serves as an installation representative in the formulation, implementation and enforcement of the Command Supply Discipline Program within the brigade’s area of responsibility. Assists the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) administrator, who is responsible for conducting property accountability inspections and providing evaluations for installation supported unit activities.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 60 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
