About the Position: This position is located at the Headquarters, Department of the Army, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff; G-3/5/7; US Army Joint Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office located at the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
Duties
Provide continuity in the effective oversight and coordination of joint initiatives developed by the separate, but interrelated divisions within the directorate.
Accelerate and strengthen the joint interoperability and integration of Combatant Commander's war-fighting capabilities within JCO (Joint Counter Office).
Determine impact on war-fighting programs resulting from joint service programmatic changes.
Receive, analyze, and process Joint requirement documents through the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) from authorized joint requirement organizations and processes.
Serve as one of the directorate’s integrators for JCO’s participation in the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) and provides visibility of those equities within the Army Program Objective Memorandum (POM) strategy.
Assess problems and issues associated with development and integration of operations and systems to include technology readiness integration and timeline challenges as it relates to joint interoperability.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes synchronizing and integrating systems requirements; providing oversight and coordination of joint initiatives; facilitating the improvement of complex equipment and management systems; researching, developing, and making recommendations for improvements in processes, policies and regulations governing the joint capability development. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
