About the Position: These positions is located at the US Army Health Clinic: Desmond T Doss Health Clinic on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Duties
Perform administrative tasks in support of the clinic day-to-day administrative operations.
Maintain file in accordance with Army Records Information Management System.
Assist in the formulation of the clinic annual budget and with various clinic managers, on budgetary functions dealing with fiscal commitment, obligation and disbursement transactions for all directorate accounts.
Project organization requirements for office supplies, computes cost and other in-house budget data.
Maintain Clinic civilian personnel records and security files.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- All employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations regardless of series, based on occupational risk and are subject to missing/required immunizations.
- This is an inclement weather essential position: incumbent is expected to make every attempt to report for duty on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.
- Requires the skills of a qualified typist.
- Must obtain and maintain a current driver's license.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- Two year probationary period may be reqiured.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing clerical and administrative support functions in a clinic or medical facility that included scheduling and rescheduling medical appointments, maintaining files, using a computer and automated software to type reports or correspondence using correct grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
