About the Position: This position is with IMCOM, USAG Fort Huachuca, Directorate of Public Works located in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. U.S. Army Garrison-Fort Huachuca job vacancies have potential to offer alternate work schedules, flex, shift, situational and re-occurring telework opportunities, depending on supervisor approval.

Duties

Establish contacts with business and industry representatives for market research. Ensures that proper measures are used to protect the credit card from fraud, waste, and misuse. Analyzes the shipping requirements, needs, specialized requirements. Screens purchase requests for completeness and adequacy. Works with vendors and the bank card company to resolve disputed charges on the credit card.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • The duties of this position require submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually.
  • Personal Protective Equipment is required and will be utilized as/when necessary.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1)using automated supply databases, such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS);2) completing supply transactions using a U.S Government Purchase Card;3) analyzing financial transactions/adjustments and reviewing purchases for discrepancies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07) OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management or Inventory Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to DetailData Systems and ManagementOral CommunicationSupply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
