As a Human Resources Specialist, you will serve as a technical authority on the implementation and operation of HR Links, eOPF and other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) automation tools.
Location of position: General Services Administration, Office of Human Resources Management, Kansas City, MO

The GS-07 salary range starts at $49,793 per year.
The GS-09 salary range starts at $60,905 per year.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
GS-07 Grade Level
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience in applying the rules, regulations and procedures for processing personnel and payroll actions and providing technical information and assistance on the interpretation and application of rules, regulations, and procedures necessary to process various personnel actions. OR Education: One full year of graduate level education or Superior Academic Achievement (SAA). To claim SAA, submit documentation of one of the following:
Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) at the baccalaureate level is fully qualifying at the GS-7 level. To claim SAA, submit documentation of one of the following:
Class standing - You must be in the upper third of your graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision, such as the College of Liberal Arts or the School of Business Administration, based on completed courses.
Grade-point average (rounded to one decimal point) of:
3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B" or better) as recorded on your official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of your curriculum; or
3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 ("B+" or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in your major field or the required courses in your major field completed during your final 2 years of the curriculum.
Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society in one of the national scholastic honor societies listed by the Association of College Honor Societies.
GS-09 Grade Level
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience in applying the rules, regulations and procedures for processing personnel and payroll actions, through awareness of automated personnel systems and their interfaces; and a working proficiency of other federal personnel functional specialties in staffing and position classification. OR Education: Possess a master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. OR Combination of Education & Specialized Experience: A combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
