This position is located at the Albuquerque Service Unit in Albuquerque, New Mexico and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The purpose of this position is to plan, supervise, direct, coordinate, and manage the property and supply functions of procurement, inventory control, records management, and fleet management. Area of Consideration: HHS-Wide

Duties

Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing the major property and supply functions of procurement, inventory control, records management, preparation and maintenance of related records and reports. Supervise and direct supply activities involving expendable and non-expendable supplies. Advise Service Unit staff in determining real property, equipment, and, supply requirements for both long range use and consolidation of requirements into a planned procurement program. Provide technical assistance on management and other personnel on supply and property management functions. Serve as Service units GSA Fleet Management program liaison; and serve as Property Custodial Officer accountable to the Area Property for all personal and non-expendable property.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Experience managing property and supply function of work in procurement, inventory control, budget, management support, property and real property management, supply and material, transportation, and housekeeping. OR Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years (36 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree, such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work or LLB or J.D., if related. OR Combination of specialized experience and education. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
