This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - JOINT STAFF SUPPORT CENTER.
Duties
Serves as a Human Resources Liaison and advisor to the Director, JSSC. Functions as one of the principal liaisons to the J1 MPD and J6 Joint Services Group and advisor/senior analyst.
Provides advice on the planning, development, evaluation, and management of human resources by forecasting manpower for civilian and military
Responsible for all facets of personnel HR management to include but not limited to military and civilian awards, in-processing/out-processing, and employee benefits.
Advises on J1 MPD and J6 policy on manpower management to include position management, high-grade controls, supervisory and leader ratios and advance-hire management.
Assists Director, JSSC with workforce planning, data gathering and analyses.
Responsible for gathering, analyzing and evaluating information relating to improving training and professional development services to all customers within the JSSC.
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of assigned programs and projects to ensure the goals and objectives are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, and funding conditions.
Responsible for providing Educational Development Specialist (EDS) support to the Director, JSSC.
Requirements

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- Top Secret/CS clearance required.
- This is a Drug Testing designated position.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience planning, development, evaluation, and management of all facets of human resources to include management directed changes to organizational structures, division of labor, assignment of responsibility and accountability, manpower and personnel management, analyzing and evaluating organizational structures and workforce to make recommendations, and program management.

Education
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experienceat the GG-12 grade level.
