Duties

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):
Plans, develops, implements, directs, and coordinates overall Prevention and Management of Disruptive Behavior training at the facility level with fidelity to the national model.
Tracks training assignments and completions for the facility.
Clearly communicates staff performance to the supervisor of record.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with medical center staff, administration, and support services.
Communicates regularly with Prevention and Management of Disruptive Behavior facility Trainers to provide updated information.
Research and/or analyzes problems, issues, or program requirements related to New Employee Orientation.
Serves on committees as assigned.
Collaborates with other Education Service employees to assure established guidelines and effectiveness of program goals are met.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-5) in Federal service. Specific qualifying specialized experience for this position is: Planning, developing, implementing, directing, and coordinating overall training; tracking training assignments; collecting data regarding number of staff trained; analyzing data to find opportunities to reach training goals; directing and managing and communicating clearly with customers and scheduling presentations for new employee orientation. IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Physical Requirements: The work is generally sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the administrative portions of the job. However, there is walking, standing, some bending, lifting, and transporting items related to the training (e.g. books, binders, training materials) which weigh less than 40 pounds. The work requires infrequent travel off-site to the CBOCs and/or government vehicle.
