This position is located at Elkhorn Catering & Conference Center. PLEASE NOTE: This position will have bi-weekly cutoffs, with the first being 3/5/2024. Duties

Prepares and serves food items which include, but are not limited to, hot dogs, nachos, chips, candy, lemonade drinks, etc. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Collects sales slips,total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
• Certificate of Medical Examination required.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation fora Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Qualifications

1. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. 2. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory Skills and Knowledge: 1. Able to work alone. 2. Know the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions. 3. Know simple food handling techniques. 4. Able to work safely. 5. Able to serve uniform individual portions and avoid distractions when several guests ask for different items at the same time. 6. Able to use simple arithmetic.
