You will serve as an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic (Production Machinery Repairer) in the Industrial Maintenance Execution Branch, Industrial Plant Maintenance Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will be required to possess extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of operation.
You will keep aware of technological changes in the occupation and provide technical guidance to lower level employees.
You will plan, layout, troubleshoot and completely perform the installation, modification, and repair of various system circuit components, equipment and controls.
You will interpret electronic, electrical, mechanical drawings, specifications and schematics for existing or new customized or generic industrial controls equipment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires rotating shift work and overtime

A - 1) Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair state-of-the art electrical/electronic systems 2)Perform troubleshoot and repair techniques to newly installed or modified electrical/electronic systems often incorporating unusual requirements; 3) Advise engineering and facilities personnel on system upgrades and modifications and complete paperwork; 4) Assemble and arrange a variety of stimulus and test equipment to operate system sub-assemblies; 5) Apply experience with aviation depot-level equipment to troubleshoot electronic equipment to full functionality; 6) Interpret and apply electrical/electronic flow charts, schematics, specifications, truth tables, to include mechanical/hydraulic blueprint and drawings, to perform troubleshooting and repair.
B - 1) Maintain, troubleshoot and repair state-of-the art electrical/electronic systems; 2) Perform troubleshoot and repair techniques to newly installed or modified electrical/electronic systems; 3) Advise engineering and facilities personnel on system upgrades; 4) Assemble a variety of stimulus and test equipment to operate system sub-assemblies and components; 5) Apply experience with aviation depot-level equipment to troubleshoot electronic equipment; 6) Interpret electrical/electronic flow charts, schematics, specifications, truth tables, to include mechanical/hydraulic blueprint and drawings to perform troubleshooting and repair.
C - 1) Troubleshoot state-of-the-art electrical systems; 2) Perform troubleshooting techniques to newly installed or modified electrical/electronic systems; 3) Advise engineering and facilities on general upgrades and modifications; 4) Arrange a variety of stimulus test equipment; 5) Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and logic diagrams.
