Duties

Plans for and effectively uses resources allocated to installation ACS programs and services. Prepares and controls the operating budget, coordinating with branch managers to develop detailed estimated budget requirement. Maintains a variety of fiscal data and service statistics for planning purposes. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set priorities and establish schedules for work completion. Provides referrals for specialized follow up care. Serves as command or ACS representative on a variety of family and soldier activity councils and boards. Maintains liaison with civilian and military related social and human services organizations. Serves as a Unit Service Coordinator (USC) providing services to designated military units. Supervises employees assigned to ACS. Identify training and developmental needs of employees, providing or arranging for required training.

In addition to meeting the Basic Requirement above, you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) serving as community service representative on family activity committees, such as councils and boards; 2) maintaining liaison with civilian and/or military related social and human services; 3) developing standard operating procedures outlining program services and delivery models.
