You will serve as a PROTOCOL ASSISTANT (OA) in the NSA MCB Guam Command Deck of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BLAZ. ***This Job Opportunity Announcement is using an additional online assessment tool to evaluate applicants. Duties

You will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the Marine Corps Camp Blaz staff. You will execute protocol duties, including providing advice on proper execution of various aspects associated with visits, conferences, or meetings. You will coordinate travel arrangements, including making reservations, communicating with organizations and officials to be visited, and completing travel claims and reports. You will receive visitors and telephone calls, determining nature of requests and directing calls to appropriate personnel. You will use office equipment and applications to create, copy, edit, retrieve, store, and print a wide range of documents from handwritten or electronic drafts.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing a variety of clerical, administrative, and protocol duties including scheduling appointments, arranging travel and submitting requisite travel documents, and communicating with stakeholders regarding official visits. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
