About the Position: You will Serve as a Program Manager for Environmental programs actions within the Pacific Ocean Division (POD) region.

Duties

Make assignments of a very broad and general nature covering long range program plans, objectives and policies relating to Environmental projects. Establish work objectives based on program guidance, interagency agreements and guidelines. Ensure that all required project and/or program actions are properly staffed and coordinated, thus assuring timely and quality assessment at all stages of the program development and review process.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 20%.

Specialized experience is defined as leading and advising teams for Environmental projects, perform analysis of interrelated issues of environmental regulatory, policy and/or customer requirements in the areas of environmental assessment, compliance, remediation and cleanup, property transfer, facility construction, rehabilitation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
