Duties

Typical duties will include: Manage multiple strategic human resources projects, ensuring work performed by the project team is within established budget, scope, and timeframes. Consult government organizations in designing and implementing organizational and workforce strategies to better meet mission requirements, including?workforce planning, succession planning, and organization or employee development. Collaborate with a matrixed network of consultants, HR specialists, and personnel psychologists across the country to deliver customer solutions. Deliver presentations or training on?human resources topics?such as workforce planning, succession planning, and organization or employee development. Write reports and other customer deliverables by analyzing and synthesizing data to provide clear insights and tangible solutions.

Applicants must demonstrate they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. GS-13: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing ALL of the following duties; Managing projects (for example, coordinating resources, timelines, deliverables); AND Developing project plans and/or proposals to address internal or external customer needs; AND Providing customers with technical expertise on workforce and/or succession planning; AND Compiling and/or analyzing data to support workforce and/or succession planning strategies; AND Writing reports to communicate findings and recommendations for workforce and/or succession planning. Applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-12 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-13 level. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
