About the Position: US Army Cadet Command, HQS RMID detachment, Los Angeles, CA
Duties
Responsible for accomplishing a variety of office manager and support functions of the Officer Recruiting Detachment.
Develop, and manage multiplicity of administrative services such as but not limited to travel assistance, civilian and military awards and evaluations, leave and timecards, etc.
Implement, monitor, and maintain various administrative processes within the office and ensure that procedures meet office needs and are consistently understood and following by the staff.
Administer and evaluate internal management plans, direction and practices which require consideration and integration of specialized needs.
Serve as the hand receipt holder, credit card holder, the lead for supply and service action, the lead for management of the GSA vehicles, and the lead for maintaining the budget requests for tracking expenditures.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Business travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as: work that involves processing a variety of human resources actions; Travel Assistance, Civilian and Military Personnel Administration for awards and evaluations, advising leadership on both practical and technical aspects of administrative functions; and gathering data, preparing reports and making recommendations consistent with normal practice. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position you may qualify if your education meets the definition below and is directly related to the position being filled:
Masters or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge,skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

Have a combination of experience and education as described above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.This education must have been obtained in an accredited business,secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
