Duties

Review and ensure Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert compliance, actively monitoring network-connected assets, assessing threats, and disseminating advisories to customers. Oversee the access and authorization (certification and accreditation) program ensuring meticulous tracking of expirations and timely dissemination of advanced suspense notification to accountable parties. Provide advice on installing the Information Security Program, conduct Operational Security reviews and manage local Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) programs, reporting compliance to higher commands. Assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organization’s information systems and networks. Analyze requirements for cybersecurity services and related support within the operational area.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
• Personnel assigned to this position must obtain the appropriate baseline security and computing environment certifications within six months of being assigned and maintain the certification throughout their employment in this position.
• This position requires potential shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.
