Purpose of this position is to serve as a Pass and ID clerk and issuance, of identification credentials/installation access passes to eligible personnel via Entry Authority Lists.

Maintains and tracks Security Forces incident reports, tickets, debarments, driving records, revocations, and suspenses using the Air Force Justice Information System (AFJIS).
Compiles information and statistics on crimes and incidents involving base personnel for files, records, trend summaries, and reports and brings significant trends to the attention of the reports and analysis manager for use in briefing higher headquarters.
Evaluates reports and paperwork for accuracy and correctness. Performs duties as the primary AFJIS/DataMax/OpenFox Administrator and trains SF personnel on the system
Maintains control logs, files, accountability for tickets, and accident/incident reports
Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.

- Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) prescribed “Unscheduled Telework.

- Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): approximately 5 days per year.
- The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license may be required for the position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located here
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 in the Federal Service. Specialized experiences is Maintains and tracks Security Forces incident reports, tickets, debarments, driving records, revocations, and suspenses, Performs a variety of clerical tasks related to the Reports and Analysis Section to include, but not limited to, consolidating material from reports, files, notes and rough drafts into final correspondence, distributes mail and reproduces material using copy equipment or computing software, Maintains control logs, files, accountability for tickets, and accident/incident reports, Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Ability to type a variety of official correspondence, primarily for the Air Force Justice Information System relating to security forces cases, incidents and traffics cases.
2. Knowledge of general and specific clerical and office functions and procedures, as well as correct grammar,spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and standard abbreviations to accurately prepare and edit written correspondence and reports.
3. Knowledge of rules, procedures or operations applied to clerical assignment to perform routine, procedural work of the office, such as preparing and editing documents, maintaining files/records, screening telephone calls and assisting visitors and processing mail.
4. Knowledge of one or more automated databases associated with a specific security function to support office and security operations and produce a variety of documents and reports.
5. Skill in typing, a qualified typist is required.
6. Ability to locate, assemble and compose routine, non-technical information for recurring reports and inquiries.
7. Ability to read and understand written and oral directives and guidance, and skill in oral and written communication methods and techniques at various levels and venues.
8. Ability to plan and organize work, follow instructions, and accomplish multiple ongoing projects.
