The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Technical Director, Senior Intelligence Specialist and Senior Civilian, directly overseeing the 707th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group (ISRG) operations and resource management activities. The 707 ISRG directs, manages, and supports four squadrons to collect, analyze, report, and disseminate signals intelligence products.
Duties
Duty 1: Performs intelligence and resource management activities for 707 ISRG units.
Duty 2: Provides technical expertise/advice to 707 ISRG senior leaders on cryptologic Collection & Operations systems, tools, concepts, and architectures.
Duty 3: Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments to include long-term planning, functional/technical advice and guidance, and continuity of management.
Duty 4: Oversees the management of ISRG fiscal and manpower resources.
Duty 5: Provides expert workforce counsel and advice to 707 ISRG senior leaders.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI),
Special Sensitive information, Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP).

- Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air

- Polygraph: Incumbent must pass initial and periodic Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph testing.The employee may be
required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments
- The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or
holidays
- Experience in AF cryptology or operations research, combined with ISR operations planning, execution, and management
expertise is required
- In the event of a national crises, extensive after-duty or extended hours may be required to satisfy urgent operational
support requirements

Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of a wide range of USAF, DoD, and Intelligence Community analysis, targeting, collection and ISR operations management concepts, principles, and practices to apply new developmental procedures, modify existing techniques, and to develop policy or guidance for use by others, and of Combined, Joint, and Air Force operations and objectives, the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events and of the relationships, functions, policies, and procedures involved in overall effects-based planning and execution of military operations, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group operations, associated systems, process and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors, of processes and procedures regarding Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Executions System (PPBES), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and Consolidated Cryptologic Program (CCP) to effectively oversee the preparation and submission of requirements and proposals, as well as oversee fiscal resources and advise the Group's senior leaders, skilled in verbal and written communication techniques to produce command and national products, present briefings, present and discuss a position effectively, and to participate in DoD and IC working Groups as a spokesperson for and a recognized authority on positions within the IC and in establishing and maintaining effective relationships, building consensus and coalitions, negotiating, and resolving conflicts with a variety of individuals and groups across the IC and external organizations. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
