Serves as the Materials Handler (FLO) in a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) location. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the receiving, storing, checking, re-warehousing, stock-picking, palletizing, packaging, and shipping a large variety of line items of perishable and semi-perishable subsistence.
Duties
Receive incoming property, equipment and subsistence items in trailers or vans.
Prepare shipping and inventory documents with required data for manual or automated inventory systems.
Document and report overages, shortages, or damaged items to supervisor.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks to receive, or deliver merchandise.
Store and rotate product using proper inventory techniques and procedures.
Ensure that received merchandise, supplies, and equipment are properly accounted for and match the contents of shipment against the appropriate documents for verification.

Requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen or national. Applicants with a Permanent Resident Card are authorized to live and work in the U.S. but are not eligible for employment in positions requiring U.S. citizenship. If selected, proof of citizenship is required.

Physical requirements: (1) Stand, stoop, kneel, bend and climb for prolonged periods. (2) Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 80 pounds and heavier items with weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers. You will attest to your ability to perform these physical requirements in the Questionnaire.
