Duties

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS MECHANIC (VERY LOW FREQUENCY TRANSMITTER) in the NAVRADSTA T JIM CREEK, COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION, NCTAMS PAC DET PUGET SOUND, SILVERDALE, OSO, WASHINGTON. Youl will perform repairs, installation and overhaul of various electronic components. You will perform assigned maintenance procedures utilizing the Maintenance and Material Management system. You will carry out preventative maintenance and repair on various electronic and electrical devices utilizing established procedures.

Experience utilizing a wide variety or electronic test instruments. Experience utilizing hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, drills, taps, dies, wire strippers, soldering irons, solder pots, heat sinks, and solder extractors. Experience working with delicate or precision parts of programmable logic circuitry.
