About the Position: You will serve as a Contracting Officer Representative and perform quality assurance of service contracts. Service contracts include; construction, maintenance and repair, water analysis, refuse collection and disposal, custodial recycling, solid waste disposal and other services as directed/needed.

Duties

Develop Service Contract Requests, performance work statements, and Independent Government Estimates. Develop Sole Source Justifications, Service Contract Approval Requests, Purchase Requests, and Work Orders. Develop Acquisition Planning Execution Checklist and other contract support documents. Conduct analysis of goods and services received, and maintain records of quality assurance actions. Track payment of service invoices. Develop statements of work and cost estimates for project work. Develop inspection plans and schedule inspections.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires level II Contracting Officer's Representative training within 6 months.
  • This position requires a valid state driver’s license.
  • This position requires a pre-employment physical.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
