You will serve as a UTILITY SYSTEMS REPAIRER-OPERATOR SUPERVISOR in the PUBLIC WORKS UTILITIES ENVIRONMENTAL MAINTENANCE DIVISION of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

Duties

You will manage the operation and operational maintenance of the station’s potable water, domestic wastewater and industrial wastewater distribution, collection and treatment facilities. You will inspect construction and equipment so that when it is finally accepted, the project fulfills the needs of the Utilities/Environmental Division without additional modifications. You will determine the sequence, priority, and time for the performance of particular operations within the limits of broader work schedules and exercise greater administrative authority. You will prepare guidance, instructions and operating procedures designed to improve operational efficiencies within the branch. You will initiate planning of current work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, estimates and recommendations as to scheduling projected work.
