Duties

Integrates individual functions into an overall non-standard logistics management program. Coordinates with project action officers, contractors, and systems developers to identify and review statements of work and specification requirements, availability, lead times, costs for acquisition and transportation. Plans, direct, coordinates and reviews the efforts of technical, administrative/clerical, trade/craft and contract support personnel in the areas of material storage. Serves as consultant/expert and point of contact on SOF non-standard logistical support for subordinate, lateral and higher organizations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
  • In accordance with AR 690-11, this position has been designated as "Emergency-Essential". Emergency-Essential designation takes precedence over any transportation agreement or military recall status.
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter
