About the Position: This is an Information Technology Specialist (Application Software) position located within the Human Resources Command (HRC), Enterprise Modernization Directorate (EMoD), Fort Knox, KY.

Duties

Plan and manage IT systems development, acquisition, implementation, and maintenance activities. Work closely with stakeholders to formulate and analyze IT requirements. Execute major studies and interprets policy in the design or redesign of IT systems. Manages complex IT projects. Plans work to be accomplished, set priorities and establishes schedules for work completion.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must possess and maintain IA certifications baseline and computing environment incumbent to their position within six months IAW DoD Directive 8570.1-M, AR 25-2 and the Information Assurance Training and Certification Best Business Practice (BBP.)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station. Travel may be required to attend training, conferences, and other mission requirements.
