THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - T5 OBO, Position Description Number T5263000 and is part of the WI JFHQ G4, Wisconsin National Guard.

Duties

Supports the DMC with the planning and execution of unit movements, and management of military convoys for all services moving within or passing through the state. Provides assistance in reviewing and validating Unit Movement Plans (UMP) and Unit Movement Data (UMD) prior to submission to Forces Command (FORSCOM). Coordinates with the various State Departments of Transportation (DOT) to determine highway availability, restrictions, and permit requirements. Provides official estimates of post mobilization transportation capabilities and requirements and disseminates information to appropriate military commands. Assists the DMC in day to day management of the General Services Administration (GSA) Vehicle Fleet as well as assigned Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) assets. *** This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties. ***
