About the Position: Serve as a Senior Procurement Systems Analyst and administrator technical expert for the Army Contracting Command, responsible for managing all aspects of systems. Provide services that ensure business systems and technical requirements are considered in all policies and procedures for day-to-day contracting operations.

Duties

Serve as a Senior Procurement Analyst assisting Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-RSA) staff and customers with a broad range of acquisition processes. Coordinate procurement processes that involve developing, reviewing, and leveraging electronic business practices at various phases of the acquisition cycle. Advise Senior Contracting Official staff members, Directors, Contracting Division Chiefs, and other customers by conducting studies, providing data analysis retrieved from computer applications, legacy systems, and other Federal and DOD systems. Analyze current data extracted from Contract Writing Systems, Federal Procurement Data System Next Generation, Virtual Contracting Enterprise and related modules. Analyze policies/procedures to recommend changes ensuring compliance with DoD and Army long-range acquisition initiatives as they relate to regulatory guidance and electronic business practices.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Foundational Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
