You will serve as a MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST within RLSO SOUTHWEST SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will provide assistance to the attorneys and other staff members and the day-to-day management of all administrative matters within their office.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day client intake, appointment scheduling, and case file management associated with the provision of legal services.
You will prepare and handle outgoing mail and shipments.
You will maintain records, files, and reports in accordance with controlling guidance.
You will conduct initial client intake and schedule appointments.
You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts to the Department.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Composing standardized documents.
2) Learning and following administrative processes and instructions.
3) Interviewing individuals to obtain and verify information.
4) Maintaining electronic database through which civilian and military cases, both criminal and personnel actions, are received, monitored and tracked.
5) Maintaining files, reminder systems, and accounting system for all cases.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
OR
1 full year of graduate level education. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
