Duties
You will compile written reports to provide production status updates.
You will advise management on aspects of production operations (e.g., job status, production problems).
You will use a computer to monitor and query production workload.
You will brief management to provide production status, updates, or other business information.
You will analyze production costs and manpower utilization data to observe trends in production time, costs, and efficiency.
You will develop written plans of action to document support of specialized goals.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Have intensive knowledge of all production methods and procedures, machines, and materials; 2) Extensive skill and experience to plan and schedule the production cycle for construction, repair, and renovation projects performed by in house workforce or contractor personnel; 3) Considerable skills to monitor production operations and conduct significant coordination with various interested parties on the timing and sequence of a wide variety of public works projects; 4) Intensive knowledge of the organization, mission and functions, (e.g., engineering, budget, contracting and procurement) to prioritize various processes governing production operations and to ascertain fund availability, etc. ; 5) Considerable skills to analyze production operations to determine if schedules are being followed, if they can be improved, the causes of production delays; and apply problem resolution skills; 6) Extensive skills and experience in the use of business applications systems used in a production control environment such as MAXIMO, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Work Manager and Data Base systems for data entry and queries; 7) Considerable skills to work under pressure of short fused requirements and adapt to changes of program requirements; 8) Incumbent must have knowledge of NAVFAC FEC and PWD operations and maintenance capabilities and pertinent safety practices ; 8) Extensive skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels; 9) Extensive ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
