You will serve as a PROCUDTION CONTROLLER (CONSTRUCTION) in the FACILITIES MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties

You will advise management on aspects of production operations (e.g., job status, production problems). You will use automated databases to develop, review, and manage work package documents. You will develop project technical documents (e.g., cost estimates, bills of material, production processes, production schedule) to meet projects goals. You will analyze production problems to suggest or implement corrective actions.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-08) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Knowledge of the work induction and management process. 1) Must be able to effectively use the Command's automated management system to perform facilities management and work control functions.2) Develop variance reports for management.3) Must have a good understanding of NAVFAC financial systems. 4) Thoroughly review the work scope and content, consider priorities and requested completion dates, prior commitments, existing schedule and workload before work determinations are made.5) Work with clients to clarify, adjust and expand scopes of work to achieve a clear understanding of client's requirements. 6) Responsibilities include interfacing multiple projects with multiple tasks through all business lines.7) Develops independent queries and reports to track numerous projects.
