About the Position:
Serves as a Management Analyst (Manpower), analyzing and executing actions pertaining to manpower management policy and procedures that impact on the entire Army or a large segment of the Army. The position is located at the Pentagon, in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Review/analyze Department of Defense (DoD) directives and/or proposals and puts forward coordinated Army position on subject actions.
Monitor plans for the distribution of military, civilian and contract manpower requirements, authorizations, and full-time equivalents.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data, problems, or other materiel of an organizational, occupational, training, doctrinal or manpower nature required for development of assigned projects.
Coordinate with other Headquarters staff elements to develop policy guidance on manpower and force structure management.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: merge, sort and analyze manpower data to recommend viable solutions for management utilizing systems such as excel or tableau; implement new or revised manpower policies/directives; prepare and present manpower briefings on joint conclusions to various organizational echelons; interpret, analyze, control, and coordinate the planning, programming, budget, and force structure documents.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
