About the position: This position will be assigned to Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Duties

Works under the direction of the Assistant Golf Course Manager who is available to deal with unusual situations which may occur and to provide guidance and instructions when performing new or procedurally complex duties. Manager on duty in the absence of the Golf Course Manager and Assistant Manager. Leads a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. As a working leader, performs the following types of duties: Actively participates in the management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties. Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations. Applies knowledge of the organization, its functions and regulations to carry out a wide variety of administrative functions related to the organization and its mission (i.e., personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply, transportation, security, etc.). Exercises independent judgment. Composes operating procedures and sets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services. An extensive knowledge of rules, operations, and practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines is required. Performs other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in general office machines, software, and the Internet/intranet. Oversees general office and financial support to golf management. Supervises a workforce consisting of at least 5 Sales Clerks. Assigns, directs, and reviews the work of subordinates, and evaluates their work performance; approving or disapproving sick leave, annual leave, or other absences from work; planning, scheduling, and coordinating work operations, solving problems related to the work supervised; determining equipment and supplies needed; and explaining and gaining the support of subordinates for management policy and goals; and for dealing effectively with employee and representatives of personnel on employee suggestions, complaints, grievances and other matters. Maintains golf personnel time and attendance records ensuring compliance with Air Force guidance. Reviews, prepares, and submits reports and daily paperwork. Resolves out-of-balance accounts or reports. Conducts research to assists NAF Accounting Office (AO) in balancing accounts receivable. Maintains petty cash and change funds. Designated Records Custodian (RC) of all golf files. Prepare calls and receiving reports in IBPS. Serve as POC for all rentals of the facility. Properly use Government P-Card and allocate all Transactions accurately. Ensures safety inspections are current, to include facility, fire extinguisher, preventative maintenance, OSHA, and other inspections are maintained and documented. Ensures all employee training is completed and documented in their personnel folders. Maintains office supply inventory. Provides initial and recurring training for Golf Shop and Snack Bar employees. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Ability to supervise 3 or more Sales Clerks. Knowledge of the Club Prophet Point-of-Sale system. Knowledge in the operation of an accounts receivable program. Applicant must have progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work that provided a thorough knowledge of administrative principles and practices. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate ability to perform at this pay band level. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel) is required. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Typing skills are required. Successful completion of a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) is required.

Education
