About the Position: This position supports the Risk Management program by participating in risk analyses for the Automated Information System (AIS) and is located within the Human Resources Command, G6 Fort Knox, KY.

Duties

Support Information System Security Managers with tracking and validating requirements related to Cybersecurity Develop cybersecurity skills and serve as validation expert as well as supports overall cybersecurity program Ensure information systems are operated and maintained in accordance with Risk Management Framework Support cybersecurity readiness and sharing of information in support of cybersecurity mission

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must possess and maintain IA certifications baseline and computing environment incumbent to their position within six months IAW DoD Directive 8570.1-M, AR 25-2 and the Information Assurance Training and Certification Best Business Practice (BBP).
• This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station (20%) of the time.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Education

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management; or, two full years of graduate education from an accredited or pre-accredited institution that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks.
