You will serve as a SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST within the Operations Research Analysis Division of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will simultaneously supervise and guide the actions of multiple subordinates in support of multiple programs and test events.
You will supervise and manage government personnel and enforces the work unit assignments and/or performance work statements of personnel hired in support of test planning, execution, reporting, and archiving.
You will oversee the work of personnel, evaluates work of the subordinates and processes employee evaluations, and gives advice and counsel on work or administrative matters.
You will prepare evaluation strategies, plans and reports using decision analysis techniques, optimization, statistical and mathematical processes and the incorporation of modeling and simulation to facilitate the evaluation of systems.
You will integrate a multitude of information from developmental and operational testing to provide a holistic assessment of system capabilities and limitations.
You will formulate issues, criteria, measures of effectiveness, and the methodologies to be used in operational evaluations.
You will provide professional analytic support to MCOTEA Operational Test Project Officers (OTPO) and Test Managers during the conduct of operational tests and the subsequent preparation of evaluation reports and briefings.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing analytical approaches to operational test plans; determining test criteria, measures of effectiveness, and data requirements, performing data analyses on operational test data; design and management of testing and evaluation programs; and, design of modeling and simulation tools.

Degree: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
