Serves as a Management and Program Assistant in ATO Technical Operations.This is not a 100% telework position. Situational telework may be available based on the needs of the Office.The position may be filled at the FV-E or FV-F band level.
Duties
Performs a combination of routine and multiple and varying assignments in support of a professional, technical, or specialized occupation under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced employee. Assists managers and other employees in day-to-day operations and may act as a lead for other support staff to coordinate multiple assignments.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Position is designated as Low Risk; a background investigation may be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-E level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-D, FG/GS-5/6 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience using various office automation software systems/programs to create letters/memos, reports, spreadsheets; experience in performing a wide variety of administrative functions to include records keeping, travel administration, time and attendance management, organizing and managing files and records; scheduling meetings, and other administrative functions in support of an office.To qualify for this position at the FV-F level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-E, FG/GS-7/8 level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience using various office automation software systems/programs to create letters/memos, reports, spreadsheets; experience in performing a wide variety of administrative functions with little to no guidance/direction from supervisor/management to include records keeping, travel administration, time and attendance management, organizing and managing files and records; scheduling meetings, and other administrative functions in support of an office. Applies experience and advanced knowledge to plan and perform administrative assignments for projects/programs.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
