About the Position: The preferred duty location is Fort Shafter, HI, but management will consider the possibility of remote work for a highly qualified individual.

Duties

Provide oversight and staff level management of water and related land resource plan formulation and economic analyses for assigned studies and projects. Serve as a regional expert in the formulation of water and related land resource projects, which requires the analysis of a broad base of scientific and technical information (cont.) to develop technically sound and economically and environmentally feasible alternatives to a full array of conflicting and often mutually incompatible planning objectives. Assists and serves as an advisor on matters regarding plan formulation and economic analysis for assigned water and related land resource projects. Represent the Corps on issues related to the development of water and related land use projects

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 10%.
