Duties

Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive Command Information program and products in support of the Fort Liberty Garrison Public Affairs Office. Ensure publication of items earmarked for dissemination by Department of Defense, Department of Army, Garrison Commander, and Director, Public Affairs are included in Command Information products. Oversee content, design, production, and social media digital platforms to support the Command’s communication efforts. Coordinate with Contracting Office to manage the publishing of digital products and ensures contractors are held to the stipulations of the contract. Provide administrative direction to Public Affairs Specialists and reporters/writers by assigning story coverage.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 10% of the time.
